KELAAT M'GOUNA
Born in the Valley of Roses
In the south of Morocco, where the Atlas Mountains meet the valleys, roses bloom with the arrival of spring.
In the Valley of Roses, the Damask rose has been part of the landscape, culture, and everyday life for generations. Its petals are gathered by hand, carried from the fields, and transformed into fragrant waters, oils, and rituals of care.
M’Gouna Rose was born from this landscape.
We created the brand to share a quieter side of Moroccan beauty—one rooted in plants, water, fragrance, heritage, and the simple act of caring for oneself.
THE BLESSING
A beauty shaped by place
We believe beauty does not have to be complicated.
It can begin with a flower picked at dawn.
With rose water poured into the palm.
With a familiar scent carried through a home.
With a ritual passed from one generation to another.
Moroccan beauty has long been shaped by the natural world. Across generations, botanicals, oils, clays, waters, and aromatic plants have found their place in everyday rituals of care.
M’Gouna Rose takes inspiration from this heritage while creating products for contemporary life.
We do not seek to recreate the past.
We seek to carry its spirit forward.
HERITAGE TO FORMULA
The Damask Rose
At the heart of M’Gouna Rose is Rosa Damascena, the Damask rose.
Delicate yet remarkably fragrant, the rose has become deeply associated with the Valley of Roses and the landscape of Kelaat M’Gouna.
For us, it represents more than an ingredient.
It represents place, season, patience, and transformation.
A flower becomes water.
A scent becomes a memory.
A traditional practice becomes a daily ritual.
This relationship between nature and ritual is at the centre of everything we create.
ROOTS
Rooted in Moroccan and Amazigh heritage
M’Gouna Rose is inspired by the beauty practices, landscapes, craftsmanship, and traditions of Morocco—with particular appreciation for the Amazigh heritage deeply connected to the southern valleys.
This heritage is not simply an aesthetic reference.
It is a living culture of relationship: with the land, with seasons, with plants, with hospitality, and with the everyday rituals that make a home feel like home.
We approach it with respect, curiosity, and a desire to tell stories that feel connected to their origins.
RITUAL
Beauty as a ritual
We are interested in the moments that happen between the bigger moments.
The first splash of water in the morning.
A few drops of fragrance after a bath.
Rose water before bed.
A quiet pause at the end of a long day.
These small gestures can become rituals.
And rituals can become a way of returning to ourselves.
M’Gouna Rose creates botanical beauty products designed to bring more intention to these everyday moments—simple formulas, considered objects, and sensory experiences inspired by Morocco.
OUR Promise
M’Gouna Rose is a young brand with an old source of inspiration.
We will continue to learn from the land, from Moroccan beauty traditions, and from the people who have kept these practices alive.
We will continue to explore botanicals, water, fragrance, and ritual.
And we will continue to look for ways to make Moroccan beauty feel both rooted and contemporary.
Because for us, beauty is not only what you put on your skin.
It is the place it comes from.
The hands that make it.
The ritual it becomes.
And the feeling it leaves behind.
M’Gouna Rose.
From the Valley of Roses, inspired by Morocco.
