Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp gunpowder green tea
  • 1 large handful fresh spearmint (about 20 g)
  • 1 tbsp dried Damask rose petals
  • 1–2 tsp rose water
  • 2–4 tsp sugar, to taste
  • 700 ml boiling water

Directions

  1. Place the green tea in the teapot. Add a splash of boiling water, swirl for 30 seconds, and pour it off. This rinses the leaves.

  2. Add the mint, rose petals and sugar.

  3. Pour in the boiling water and steep for 4–5 minutes.

  4. Pour a glass and return it to the pot twice to mix.

  5. Serve from a height, so the tea foams.
